Don Verga y los límites del mercado

Jimmy Kimmel pregunta:

“If your baby is going to die, and it doesn’t have to, it shouldn’t matter how much money you make. I think that’s something that, whether you’re a Republican or a Democrat or something else, we all agree on that, right?

En ese momento, Don Verga (AKA “Libertario”) alza la mano para manifestar su contrariedad. Y es posible que empiece una diatriba solipsista.

En esencia, lo que emotivamente Kimmel quiere decirnos es que ciertas cosas no deberían ser libradas a las fuerzas del mercado. Michael Sandel, racionalmente, justifica (en inglés) el porqué.
